Personally speaking, both games look promising, and that’s coming from a casual Rainbow Six player and a non-fan of the sports genre. While delays are hardly good news, it is generally accepted that delays are better than releasing a broken game. Riders Republic has been moved from a September 2 to an October 28 release date. The Ubisoft Extraction team took to the studio’s blog to update fans on the game’s current status. We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play. Ubisoft has confirmed that Rainbow Six Extraction is delayed until 2022. We are embracing the opportunity to take additional time to bring this vision to life in the way it deserves in January 2022. With unique features like Missing In Action or The Sprawl, every mission is set to be a tense and challenging experience in which you’ll lead the elite operators of Rainbow Six in a fight against a lethal and evolving alien threat. Our ambition with Rainbow Six Extraction is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games. Rainbow Six Extraction, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, is now releasing on January 2022. Both games were showcased this year at E3 during Ubisoft Forward. The company has delayed Rainbow Six Extraction and Riders Republic. The game is currently due to be released some time between April 2022 and March 2023, but whether it will is anyone’s guess.Ubisoft has announced the delays of two of its upcoming games. It’s probably not best to mention Skull & Bones seeing as the troubled game has been delayed numerous times and apparently rebooted twice. Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake has been delayed several times and is now due to be released at some point next year. Far Cry 6 was quietly delayed out of its initial February window before eventually being penned in for October 7. These aren’t the first Ubisoft games to be delayed recently.
